Flemington PFG Health and Safety Policy Statement

The Flemington PFG committee, acknowledge that the health and safety of our participants, volunteers, and staff is our top priority. This policy outlines our commitment to ensuring a safe environment during any Fundraising event and reinforces the responsibilities of all involved.

  1. Participants are informed that engaging in any fundraiser involves inherent risks, including physical injury, exhaustion, and damage to personal property. These risks may arise from the nature of the event, the environment, and interactions with other participants.
  2. All participants are required to acknowledge and accept these risks. By participating voluntarily, individuals assume full responsibility for their safety and well-being throughout the event.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants release and hold harmless Flemington PFG, its organizers, sponsors, and all associated parties from any claims or liabilities arising from their participation. This includes, but is not limited to, injuries or damages caused by negligence or other factors.
  1. Participants under the age of 18 must have parental or guardian consent, confirming that they are physically and mentally fit to participate. It is the responsibility of parents or guardians to ensure that their child is adequately prepared for any event. The event organizers will not be liable for any medical emergencies or treatments required during the event.
  2. All participants must adhere to the event's rules and regulations, as well as follow instructions from event officials. Non-compliance may result in disqualification.
  3. Participants grant permission for Flemington PFG to capture images and recordings during events held. These may be used for promotional and advertising purposes without further approval.
  • The Flemington PFG is dedicated to implementing safety measures, including pre-event briefings, safety signage, and medical support on-site. We encourage participants to prioritize their own safety and the safety of others throughout the event.

By participating in any Fundraising Event, individuals agree to this Health and Safety Policy Statement and acknowledge their understanding of the associated risks and responsibilities. Together, we can create a safe and enjoyable experience for all.
